Entries closed last week for World Masters T & F Champs in Daegu, with an incredible 35 Irish Master Athletes entered. This is almost double the number who travelled when last held there in 2017. Saddened to hear of the death of Ernie Caffrey, Ballina A.C. who passed away peacefully over the weekend, surrounded by his family. Ernie competed over several disciplines & won many titles, competing both at National & International level (including winning a Silver Medal at M80 Long-Jump at World Masters in Perth in 2016).
