1) European Masters Indoors, 2) European Non-Stadia, Catania, 3) Anne Gilshinan - EMA Award

See that you are amassing an incredible number of medals out there in Torun & hopefully many more to come. Might move up another spot or 2 on the medals table.  Hopefully, you will be able to insert this on the Masters website. I am heading Stateside later today but will try & do a further update after Sunday. I have entered for non-Stadia myself, making a comeback after all these years.

Just past the midway stage in the European Masters Indoor Champs in Torun & already Team Ireland have amassed an incredible tally of medals, 66 to date by close of competition on Wednesday, 17 Gold, 29 Silver & 20 Bronze and lying 10th overall in the medals table out of 32 Nations who have secured a medal. We wish all the Athletes continued success over the few remaining days of competition.

Also, congratulations to Anne Gilshinan who was presented with her award of European Best Female Middle-Distance Athlete of the Year 2025, pictured below. Anne continues to amaze & has already set a number of World Indoor records this year.

European Masters non-Stadia will take place in Catania, Sicily from 30th Apr to 3rd May , registration will close on 10th April, please see link below. Hopefully, we will have a good representation competing here & add to the success of our Indoor Athletes

On the homefront, AAI National 10k Road Champs will take place in Phoenix Park, Sunday 12th April, followed by AAI National Road Relays in Raheny on Sun 26th Apr. Please see Athletics Ireland website @ www.athleticsireland.ie for additional details.
