Great action away from the track

Congratulations to our colleagues in IMRA who hosted a very successful Masters World Mountain Championships in the Comeragh Mountains in Clonmel last weekend. They put on a brilliant event, with all the hard work paying off, together with the support of large team of Officials & local volunteers. It was great to see such large numbers from IMAA also supporting these Champs, including 2 former IMAA Presidents, Mags Greenan & Sean McMullin, both who contributed to Team medals. Pride of place to the Women, who won 8 Ind medals, with Kate Purcell F35, Becky Quinn F45 & Pauline Moran F65 winning Gold, plus 5 Team Gold & 3 Team Silvers, right across all the age categories. Martin McDonald M65 was the sole Male Irish winner, with 3 additional Ind silver medals & 1 bronze. Again medals were won right across all the Men’s categories, with 3 Gold, 4 Silver & 2 Bronze.
