National Masters; DSD Masters Games - 1 Day League; IMAA Awards Night; European Masters

A final reminder re forthcoming 123.ie AAI National Masters T&F champs which will take place in Tullamore on Sat 26th July. Please ensure you get those entries in on time, as entry fee will increase on 17th July & will close off on Sun 20th. Full timetable will be available after this.  

Please also note that the following events will be incorporated into 123.ie National Combined Champs in Carlow on 19th-20th July, Master Long Hurdles, Steeplechase & Weight Throw (Heavy Hammer). Entries for these 3 events in AAI Games are now closed. Please see https://entry.athleticsireland.ie for further info in relation to both weekends.

Please see also link below with Provisional Timetable for Sat 26th in Tullamore. Final Timetable will be published after closing date when entries are finalised. Athletes should also note that check in opens 90mins before your event & closes 45 minutes prior to scheduled event start. It is important that Athletes adhere to this to ensure smooth running of timetable on the day. Please note also that JFK Sports plan to be in attendance in Tullamore for any Athletes who wishes to purchase the official IMAA International gear as supplied by Joma.

For Athletes who still wish to seek out T&F competition, don’t forget DSD Masters Games - 1 Day League been promoted by DSD to facilitate 1st ever Irish Masters League track and field event on Sat 30th Aug (including Guest races). This will also enable Athletes who are in training for European Masters T&F Champs to have some additional competition prior to travelling out in Oct. For any additional please contact us via our website & Ronan Gately, Avril Dillon or Kevin Byrne will be happy to answer your queries.

To cap competition on 30th Aug, the IMAA Gala Awards ceremony will take place in Eden House, Rathfarnham later that evening. Your support for both events would be greatly appreciated. Know that Ronan, Avril, Kevin & others in DSD are working extremely hard in pulling all this together & will be more than happy to answer any queries. Please see flyers below for further information

Also please note that online entries for European Masters T & F Champs, scheduled from 8th to 19th Oct in Maderia is also now open. Please see https://european-masters-athletics.org  for further information. This will also provide details of calendar of events for 2026 Champs. Please note that Athletes entering for Maderia must be registered members of Athletic clubs here in Ireland or in their country of residence if not currently registered with AAI. Also, must be a fully paid-up Member of IMAA in order to have your entry validated by IMAA International Sec.

Please note there are a limited number of tickets so please get yours early to avoid disappointment.

It will be a casual evening, with 1 course meal. Patrick Crossan will be DJ for the night. It is upstairs in the Eden House, Rathfarnham. Kick-off 7.15pm, Awards 7.45pm and then DJ, fun and frolics until late!
