As another hugely successful year for Irish Master’s Athletics draws to a close, on behalf of all here on the IMAA Committee, I would like to wish all our Masters Athletes & their families a Happy & Peaceful Christmas, with best wishes & good health for 2026. We look forward to seeing many of you in the months ahead as we head into another exciting year with both National & International Championships. Entries are now open for European Masters Indoor Champs. in Torun, which take place between 27th Mar to 2nd Apr 2026. This has proved to be a very popular Champs. for Irish Master Athletes, so we anticipate another huge number of participants travelling. Please see link below for additional info & entry
World Masters T&F Champs will also take place in Daegu, South Korea, commencing on 22nd Aug, please see additional details below;

WMA Competition and Technical Rules (2026 Edition, 05/12/2025, 34 pages, .pdf)
There are still a few medals on hand from British & Irish Masters CC Champs, all Team medals, broken down as follows: 2 x M40, 1 x M40, 1 x F35 & 1 x F40. Any Athletes who did not receive these medals, please contact Mike Fennel to arrange pickup. We are also missing the following 2 medals, M35 & F45 Team silver medals. Any Athlete from those Teams who has the additional medal, can you please let us know so we can pass on.
