With European Masters T&F Champs commencing this Thursday 9th Oct, our largest ever team of 134 Athletes will be travelling out over the coming days depending on their timetable, therefore we wish competitors all the very best in their event(s) 2 Athletes will also be honoured out there with John MacDermott M80 named as 2024 Male European Masters Sprinter of the Year & Annette Kealy F55, 2024 European CC & Road Athlete of the Year. A final reminder re Autumn CC which will once again be used as trial race for selection for British & Irish Masters CC teams & which will be hosted by English Masters in Leeds on Sat 15th Nov. Slight rule change comes into play this year with Men & Women 35 to 50 inclusive 5 to run with 4 to score. As a result it will be first 3 home in trial race with automatic selection plus option of 2 wild card requests. In all other age groups 55plus it will 4 to run & 3 to score. As a result in the trial race again first 3 home will be selected with one wildcard option. All wildcard requests must be submitted to International Sec in writing by10th Oct stating reason why unable to compete in trial plus also details of most recent race results over the past 2 months. Written requests only by email to Pat @ 

International Secretary <internationalsecimaa@gmail.com> We appreciate that there is an unfortunate clash of dates, with some Athletes still competing or just returning from Maderia, so if an Athlete is unable to compete & wishes to be considered for selection, it is vital that they submit written wildcard request by 10th Oct to Pat.

Online entries now open, see link below. Please note price increase after 9th Oct with final closing date on Sunday 12th Oct. Absolutely no online entries after this or on the day itself. There is also individual age categories in Women 75 & Men 80. These Athletes can also be considered for team selection in F70 & M75. All Athletes must be registered members of an Athletic club plus also of IMAA in order to be considered for selection. Also, if an Athlete is moving into a new age category by 15th Nov please advise selectors on trial date to ensure that they are considered for the current age category.

Selected Athletes will be notified via email 2-3 days after the trial, so please ensure that we have a current email address, this can be checked with us on race day.
