Pat Bonass - RIP

It is with deep regret, I bring you the sad news that Pat Bonass, one of the founding members of IMAA has passed to his eternal reward.

He was hugely instrumental in Ireland being invited to participate in what then became the British and Irish International Cross Country.

He fought a long battle with cancer with his usual bravery, doggedness and determination.

Pat had a great passion for Master Athletics and competed for many years at both national and international level. He was an active member of Clonliffe Harriers as an athlete, official and administrator over his lifetime.

Our thoughts and prayers with Pat's family at this most challenging and difficult time.

I will circulate funeral arrangements as soon as they become available.
