We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Sheila Champion, Sportsworld Running Club, who passed away over the weekend. Sheila together with her twin sister Dorothy, were pioneers and stalwarts of early Masters Athletics, winning many titles both at home and abroad. They in particular pioneered pole vaulting for the older woman, with both having a background in gymnastics.
