All Athletes must also be registered members of IMAA, in order to be considered for selection.

Any Athlete unable to compete in the trial, but wishing to be considered for a wildcard selection, please email International Sec, Pat O’Grady @ internationalsecimaa@gmail.com stating reason why unable to run in the trial plus also furnish recent race results. This should be emailed through no later than Mon 7th Oct. Verbal requests will not be entertained.

A belated happy birthday to Nick Corish, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday. Nick is a long established & proud member of Raheny Shamrocks & was one of the pioneers of Veteran/Masters Athletics, having competed in numerous European & World Masters Champs. We reckon that Nick is our first centurion within IMAA. We wish him continued good health.

Finally, congratulations to Annette Kealy, Raheny Shamrocks, Edel Maguire, Clonliffe Hrs & John Mac Dermott, Sligo A.C, who have been nominated by IMAA Comm for consideration “Master Athlete of the Year” to AAI. Winners will be announced at AAI Gala Awards in Nov. After another successful year, it was a difficult choice narrowing it down to these 3 Athletes.
