Best wishes to all those who are travelling onto Madeira over the coming days in prep for European Masters Champs, which commence on 8th Oct thru to Sun 19th. Our largest number ever entered with almost 140 registered to compete. Wishing you all the very best. Please note that official Irish Masters singlets must be worn during competition. Please see

Looking slightly further ahead entries now also open for Autumn CC which will once again be used as trial race for selection for British & Irish Masters CC teams which will be hosted by English Masters in Leeds on Sat 15th Nov. Slight rule change comes into play this year with Men & Women 35 to 50 inclusive 5 to run with 4 to score. As a result it will be first 3 home in trial race with automatic selection plus option of 2 wild card requests. In all other age groups 55plus it will 4 to run & 3 to score. As a result in the trial race again first 3 home will be selected with one wildcard option. All wildcard requests must be submitted to International Sec in writing by10th Oct stating reason why unable to compete in trial plus also details of most recent race results over the past 2 months. Online entries now open see link below. Please note price increase after 9th Oct with final closing date on Sunday 12 th Oct. Absolutely no entries after this. There is also individual age categories in Women 75 & Men 80. These Athletes can also be considered for team selection in F70 & M75 , All Athletes must be registered members of an Athletic club plus also of IMAA in order to be considered for selection. Also if an Athlete is moving into a new age category by 15th Nov please advise selectors on trial date to ensure that they are considered for the current age category.
