Busy past weekend with AAI Autumn CC, incorporating trial race for forthcoming British & Irish Masters CC Champs, which will take place in Swansea on sat 17th Nov. Teresa Doherty F40, Finn Valley A.C. & current reigning British & Irish Masters CC Champ, Brian Maher M40, Kilkenny City Harriers were the winners of the Jim McNamara Perpetual trophy’s for 1st Master Athletes. Stiff competition throughout the various age categories, which together with a number of wildcard applications, made it a difficult call in a no. of cases, but teams now selected and Athletes notified.

Further afield, Paul Moran M55 was our sole representative in Toronto Marathon, which also incorporated World Masters Marathon Champs, turning in a brilliant performance, winning silver in time of 2:44:21 & just under 3 minutes behind Spanish Athlete, Sanchez Perona.


Online entries are also now open for World Masters Indoor Champs, which take place in Torun, Poland from 24th  through to 30th March 2019.Please see www.wmaci2019.com for all relevant information. Already a number of Irish Athletes signed up.
