It was with great sadness that we learnt of the untimely passing of Joe Conway RIP, who died suddenly, shortly after Christmas in Houston, U.S.A. Joe had competed a number of times with the Irish Masters, over 800m, including World Masters Outdoor Champs in Sacramento in 2011, M40s & World Masters Indoors in Budapest 2014, M45s. He was also a regular contributor to Irish Runner magazine, outlining performances of Irish Athletes Stateside. Our deepest sympathy to his family, friends & ex club mates in Clonliffe Harriers A.C. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam.

Online entries have now closed off for European Masters Indoors Champs in Madrid, with a record breaking number of Irish entrants, totalling 126. This is a phenomenal no. & is beyond all expectations. This will place an extra burden on the incoming Committee, so please allow a little more time to get pre planning in place. We will be in contact with all, via email, over the next fortnight. In the meanwhile, can those who have not paid 2018 Membership to IMAA, please forward annual fee of €15 to IMAA Treasurer, George Maybury. It is also necessary for first time entrants to furnish copies of Birth Cert & valid photo i.d. to International Sec. Mike Fennell

IMAA 2018 A.G.M. will be held on Sat. 17th Feb. in Donore Hrs. Clubhouse commencing at 2pm. Motions & nominations should be forwarded to IMAA Sec. Finola Moore by Fri. 9th. Feb. 2018.
